Shipping

All instock items ship within 3 business days of purchase. Items are all shipped Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. We highly recommend purchasing insurance as we cannot be responsible for items that are lost in the mail. We are not liable for these items once they are in the hands of the USPS.

Custom orders are mailed within 3 days of completion. We try to complete custom orders in the most timely manner, but please understand that we are moms too and sometimes things don't always go as planned!

Crinkle Bottoms is based in Massachusetts and Milk Beads is based in Alabama, if you would like to pick up an item instead of having it shipped please contact us and we will make arrangements as we can.

Payment

We currently accept Paypal, personal checks or money orders. Payment is due immediately upon checkout. If you have not paid by paypal or informed us of a check/money order within 48 hours your items will be restocked. If you are paying via check or money order, we will contact you with a mailing address at the completion of checkout. Please send checks and money orders in a timely fashion. If no payment is received within 14 business days, items will be restocked.

Returns and Exchanges

Instock items that are returned in unwashed, unworn condition can be returned for a for a full refund (minus shipping charges) within 30 days of purchase. We want our customers to enjoy our products, so if you have a problem with an item, please contact us before sending it back. We will not refund for items that are sent without prior notification. Refunds will NOT be issued until we recieve the product and the product has been inspected and deemed in like-new condition. Items not purchased directly from us are not eligible for a refund.

Customs Policy

We work from a customs list. If you are interested in have a custom order done and we have no custom slots instock, please contact us.

When we reach your name on our customs list, you have 1 weeks to finalize your order (yarn, size, specifics, etc). If you have not finalized your order, we will drop your name to the bottom of the list. Once your order is finalized, we ask that a deposit be paid (usually $10-15 or the price of yarn that is to be ordered). This deposit is non-refundable. Once deposit is paid, we will start work on your items. If yarn is to be ordered, then we will start your items when we receive the yarn. Generally, items take 2-3 weeks once started, but we will keep you up to date on your items progress via email. If you have questions, please feel free to email us and we will reply promptly (within 24 hours).

We expect our customers to understand fit and measurement of their child in order to place a custom order. We will not issue refunds for items that are knit to a customers specifications and do not fit upon receipt. If you have questions about how to measure your child feel free to email us, we are more than willing to work with you to get the correct measurements.

We are not responsible for color patterning in your items. Color patterning is random based on the size of the item, the length of the repeat, the way the yarn was dyed, etc. This is NOT a defect and we will not issure refunds based on this.

Upon completion of your item we will send a picture before shipping. The balance of your item is due before shipping. Customs cannot be returned without prior authorization and custom items are only refunded for true defects. Fit issues caused by mis-measurement, color patterning, and leaking problems are NOT defects and we will not issue refunds for these reasons. If your item has a true defect, refunds will be issued upon receipt of product and after it has been inspected for defect.

A Few Notes...

Due to the very unique nature of hand-dyed wools, we cannot gaurantee matching colors in the future. Please note if you are purchasing a larger size so that we can ensure adequate yarn.

Transfer of colors to wet diapers is a common occurance with hand-dyed yarns. Yarns should not permanently discolor diapers.

We are not responsible for the performance of wool products. Wool covers (of any kind) are only as good as the diaper beneath them. Please ensure adequate absorbancy to have your woolens work to the best of their ability. If you have leakage problems, we suggest lanolizing (we wash and lanolize all our covers before mailing). Please follow the directions we provide with your item and also on our website. If you are still having problems, we are more than willing to suggest good diapers for your woolens.

Shrinking and fading are all part of life. Woolen diaper covers will shrink (or felt) and fade over their lifetime. To ensure minimal shrinking and fading, care for your woolens properly.
